The housing challenge
Many working Ugandans have stable incomes but still struggle to acquire a home of their own.
Who Raven Homes is for
People with stable incomes who can afford regular monthly payments, but may not qualify for — or prefer not to take — a conventional mortgage.
The Rent-to-Own model
A structured, seven-step pathway from tenant to homeowner.
Client application & assessment
The prospective homeowner is assessed based on income, affordability and other eligibility requirements.
Property selection
The client selects an available Raven Home suitable for their household and budget.
Agreement
Raven Homes and the client enter into a legally structured Rent-to-Own agreement setting out the payment period, monthly obligations, ownership conditions, maintenance responsibilities, default provisions and other relevant terms.
Occupation
The client takes possession of the finished home upon satisfaction of the agreed initial requirements.
Periodic payments
The client makes agreed monthly or other periodic payments over the contractual period.
Progress towards ownership
Payments are structured to provide the client with an avenue towards acquiring ownership of the property, subject to full compliance with the agreement.
Transfer of ownership
Upon fulfilment of the agreed contractual obligations, ownership of the property passes to the client in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the agreement.

Every Raven Home is delivered fully finished and ready to use, so clients can move into a ready-to-live-in home without the significant upfront financial burden that normally comes with finishing a house.

We keep construction and operational costs down through standardized designs, efficient use of materials, bulk procurement, strategic supplier and contractor partnerships, and scalable, planned housing developments — keeping prices accessible to the target market.
